Terms of Service

1. Overview
Approach (“we,” “us,” “our”) connects users with real coaches who provide short video answers and follow-up messages to dating-related questions, delivered by SMS. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Service description
For a fee per question, you submit a dating-advice question by text message. A real coach records a short video answer, delivered to you as an SMS with a video link, typically within 10 minutes of payment. You may continue the conversation with the coach by SMS until the coach ends the session. Additional 30-minute follow-up coaching calls are available for an additional fee. All video answers and calls are performed by human coaches — no AI is used to generate answers.
3. Payments
All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Your payment method may be securely stored with Stripe for future purchases; you can request its removal at any time by emailing billing@askapproach.app.
4. Refunds
If you are not satisfied with a video answer or coaching call, we offer a full refund. Refund requests may be sent to billing@askapproach.app and are processed within 5–10 business days. Refunds are not available for accounts terminated for violations of these Terms.
5. SMS messaging
By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive transactional SMS from Approach, including coach answers, coach follow-up messages, sign-in verification codes, payment confirmations, and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for support. See our Privacy Policy for how phone-number data is handled.
6. User conduct
You agree not to:
- Send explicit, nude, or sexually suggestive content
- Use profanity, abusive language, or engage in harassment
- Attempt to contact our coaches outside of the platform or solicit personal contact information
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
7. Content
Video answers and calls provided by our coaches are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional therapy, counseling, medical, legal, or financial advice.
8. Intellectual property
Video answers provided to you are for your personal use. You may not redistribute, publish, or resell any content received through the service.
9. Privacy
See our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, and protect your data.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service at our sole discretion, with or without cause.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
